About Us
Barnabas and Grace have been married for 29 years and have three children, two sons, 26 year-old Eb-e-Nezer and 23 years old Uzziel; and a daughter Shekinah 18 years old.
Both Barnabas and Grace are Certified Life Coaches, with Life forming Leadership Coach training that is recognized by the ICF (International Coaching Federation) and affiliated to Regent University. Together they co-founded their Couples’ coaching and Therapy business called Two-Ships Solutions in 2011. Through their organisation they help individuals, married couples and teams, achieve their relational goals using a coaching approach, Safe Conversations methodology and developmental model for couples therapy.
Barnabas and Grace are also columnists with The People Daily, where they address relational issues every Monday. They have featured on different Radio and TV stations as relationship experts, as well as spoken in many Marriage Conferences, Seminars and Retreats. Among the organizations they have worked with include, Village Impact an international NGO that is working among IDPs in Nakuru County, UNTOLD, EABL,Standard Chartered bank, The Anglican Church, CITAM, International Christian Centre, Nairobi Baptist among many other churches and couple groups.
Barnabas is also a Certified Professional Behaviors Analyst (CPBA), Certified Professional Motivators Analyst (CPMA), a Certified Professional Emotional Quotient Analyst (CPEQA) with TTi South Africa and a Connecting at Work Coach with Quantum Connections (USA).
Grace has homeschooled all her children and served as a supervisor with Oaks Excellence Academy. She’s a trained Administrator, Counselor and Safe Conversations Workshop Leader. She’s passionate about women and runs a program called Beauty For Ashes
Barnabas and Grace served for 12 years as Associate Pastors at Nairobi Lighthouse Church where they oversaw over 400 members and 40 leaders. They currently serve as the Lead Pastors of Abundant Life Community Church in Kilimani.
Our main goal is to work deeply with the individual, Couple or Teams to deliver quantifiable improvements and transformation in their relationships by our tailor-made relationship and communication tools for better relationships and conflict resolution. Using the Safe Conversations methodology we help Couples and Teams transform their conversations through a 3 step dialogue structure.
Through our Connecting At Work(CAW) program, in partnership with Quantum Connections USA, we drive peak team performance by fostering connected relationships across all levels of an organization.
By addressing the root causes of dysfunctional workplace relationships, this program helps reduce employee disengagement, low productivity, and high turnover. It also enhances Psychological Safety for the employees creating a culture of safety in an organization. Participants here learn how to talk without criticism and listen without judgment in order to connect beyond their differences at their workplaces.

Two Ships Solutions is a Coaching & Counseling Company limited by guarantee that was established in 2011 by Barnabas and Grace Achoki out of a passion to work with Married Couples.
At Two Ships Solutions, we help individuals, married couples and Corporate organizations achieve their relational goals using a coaching approach. We also offer Couple Therapy using the proven and tried Developmental Method by the Couple Institute in California, USA and help middle-aged Couples successfully navigate through mid-life as a Couple.
